we have this investigatory project about ground coffee beans to be used as a fertilizer and according to our researches the coffee beans also has some chemicals and nutrients that is somehow has a resemblance with a fertilizer.

Answer by RScott
It helps lower soil pH due to it’s acidity and is always a good thing to compost, but it’s low in nutrients. It does however grow gourmet Oyster mushrooms when combined with the coffee filters. You can get grow kits at www.FungiPerfecti.com. RScott

Question by Eatenbyashark: Is it possible to get a rash from drinking coffee?

I think I may have an allergy to coffee. I recently started drinking coffee daily (4-5 cups a day) and I got a rash on both my arms. The right arm first, then it has been looking clearer. Now my left arm has a worse rash then the other. It is on my stomach a little too. I looked up the reactions to coffee and a rash made the top of the list. I am going to stop drinking coffee. Has anyone had a similar situation?

Best answer:

Answer by Jade
It’s possible to get a rash from anything if you’re allergic to it! Stop drinking it for a while and see if it clears up. I don’t like coffee so I have never had that reaction!

I am wanting to use my Magic Bullet to make a coffee frappe. But it keeps separating and is gross! I got some pectin and gelatin. Can I use either one of these to add to my mixture to keep it from separating? If so – does any one know how much to add. If not – what does anyone recommend to use that I can get at the grocery store.

Best answer:

Answer by EmpressOath
gelatin should work. it needs to be dissolved in hot water. you don’t say how much frappe you are making! one cup, 2 cups?? try 1/2 teaspoon. you will have to experiment.

Question by Bruno: What is the best way to remove coffee stains from white carpet?

A week ago my little one knocked over a full glass of coffee on to the carpet. I tried to clean it up using Zep Commercial High Traffic Carpet Cleaner. But, when it dried, there was still a huge stain and I have no clue how to get rid of it.

Best answer:

Answer by eskie lover
I drink almost nothing but coffee and tea and have had stains on almost every surface imaginable. The BEST at removing both is Simple Green because it breaks down the tanin which is what is left by other cleaners. I use it straight, agitate it into the the fibers, use a little water to rinse followed by vinegar so that I don’t get a mystery stain where the dirt gets attracted to the detergents and it completely removes both coffee and tea stains on most anything.
