Mind Reading Coffee Machines?

Presenting the Coffee Machine That Reads Minds

I’m a huge fan of anything that combines coffee and technology. In a recent press, JL Hufford Coffee and Tea announced that it has begun provisional patent exploration into coffee machines that learn and react to their users. Unlike the coffee alarm clock that I posted about on April 13, this actually combines coffee and technology into something useful. Maybe a little over the top, but useful none-the-less.

Although still only theory, these coffee machines will have a built in AI that it will use to learn the preferences of owner. A hands free machine filled with coffee beans and water that automatically grinds the beans, brews, disposes of used coffee grounds, and resets itself for the next cup. The machines will also be network compatible and have built in computer ports allowing it’s owner to control it via their home network or over the Internet.

A network enabled automatic coffee machine that understands me. I have to admit… I want one!
