Well it’s been over a month since I decided to change Grind your Beans.  Except for moving all my posts to the archived category, I haven’t done anything else.

I decided to change the site to focus on just coffee beans.  I’m starting to think this may not have been the best decision.  I just don’t have the passion for coffee beans.  I love coffee but I don’t have anything to blog about when it comes to beans.

So now I have to decide what to do with the site.  I’ll either have to decide to blog about a different topic or find someone who can write about coffee beans for me.  If you’re interested in writing about coffee beans drop me an email and we’ll see if we can work something out.

Grind your Beans is changing.  I started this blog back in February because I love coffee and wanted to blog about it.  I didn’t have anything specific that I wanted to blog about so I decided to post anything related to coffee.

Over the past couple months I have learned a lot about the coffee industry and I have enjoyed keeping the blog up to date.  The reason why I decided to change is two fold.  First keeping up with the coffee industry is a very time consuming task and second I want to specialize.  Being a small fish in the huge coffee pond is no fun.

Deciding on what to specialize in was a pretty easy decision. The name I gave this blog in the beginning gave me the specialization I needed.  This blog in the upcoming weeks will be renovated to specialize in…. drum roll… Coffee Beans!

Yup, Grind your Beans is going to narrow it’s content to specialize in only coffee beans.  I’m excited about this change and I hope you are too.  Please email me or post your comments here.  I always love hearing from my readers.

This year’s Camp Day at Tim Hortons was a success.  On June 6th all proceeds from the sale of coffee was donated to the Tim Hortons Children Foundation.  Over 3000 stores participated and donated a total of $8.3 million.
